Mater Dei Forward Wilhelm Breidenbach led all scorers with 21 points as the Monarchs beat Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles 71-47 in a game at Santa Ana, CA.

Breidenbach’s points came on 7 field goals, 1 three pointer and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Mac West added 12. Capistrano Valley Christian fell to 6-6 overall while Mater Dei improved their record to 23-0.

Capistrano Valley Christian’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Monday May. 17 versus Fairmont Prep. Mater Dei will host St. Augustine on Saturday May. 15
