Mission Bay’s Angelo Gil led all scorers with 24 points as the Buccaneers beat Helix Highlanders 70-54 in a game at mission bay.

Gil ‘s points came on 8 field goals, 1 three pointer and 5 of 10 free throws during the game.

Markees Williams added 12. Helix fell to 1-1 overall while Mission Bay improved their record to 2-0.

Helix’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Apr. 2 versus El Capitan. Mission Bay will host Point Loma on Thursday Apr. 1
