Mater Dei crushes Bergen Catholic 62-14

QB JT Daniels racked up 285 passing yards and threw for 5 touchdowns to help Mater Dei to a 62-14 win over Bergen Catholic on Saturday night at Mission Viejo.

The Monarchs also recieved major efforts from WR Amon-ra St. Brown who caught 8 passes for 139 yards and 3 touchdowns and RB Shakobe Harper who rushed 12 times for 82 yards and 1 touchdown.

Bergen Catholic’s QB Johnny Langan threw for 158 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Anthony Corbin picked up 83 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Garrett Cody had 50 receiving yards.

The win helps Mater Dei improve to 4-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Mater Dei travels to Stockton, CA to take on the St. Mary’s Rams on Saturday September 23 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
