Chaminade edges Notre Dame (SO) 40-35

QB Ryan Stevens racked up 172 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to help Chaminade to a 40-35 win over Notre Dame (SO) on Friday night at Notre Dame High School.

The Eagles also recieved crucial efforts from RB Andrew Vanburen who rushed 25 times for 94 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Michael Wilson who caught 3 passes for 53 yards.

Notre Dame (SO)’s QB Tobias Baklayan threw for 183 yards and 3 touchdowns, RB Christian Grubb picked up 77 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and RB McKel Broussard had 108 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

With the loss, Notre Dame (SO) falls to 5-4 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
