Servite cruises by Roosevelt 52-24

QB Tyler McMahon had 182 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to help Servite to a 52-24 win over Roosevelt on Friday night at Roosevelt High School.

The Friars also received vital efforts from CB Julius Irvin who rushed 1 time for 79 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Delon Hurt who caught 3 passes for 98 yards and 1 touchdown.

Roosevelt’s QB Jeremy Moussa threw for 217 yards and 2 touchdowns, RB Tajh Thornton picked up 14 rushing yards and WR Jalen Johnson had 76 receiving yards.

The win helps Servite improve to 3-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Servite will challenge the Villa Park Spartans at home on Friday September 15 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
