Saint Francis crushes St. Ignatius 28-7

QB Reed Vettel picked up 137 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to guide Saint Francis to a 28-7 win over St. Ignatius on Saturday night at St. Ignatius High School.
The Lancers also recieved impressive efforts from Darrell Page who rushed 16 times for 108 yards and WR Maurice Wilmer who caught 1 pass for 67 yards and 1 touchdown.
St. Ignatius’ QB Charlie Katz threw for 59 yards, RB Cormac Gallagher picked up 67 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR David Woodruff had 38 receiving yards.
With the loss, St. Ignatius falls to 1-5 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
