Sacred Heart Cathedral beats St. Ignatius 21-14

QB Sean White had 168 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead Sacred Heart Cathedral to a 21-14 win over St. Ignatius on Friday night at Kezar Stadium.

The Fightin’ Irish also recieved helpful efforts from ogelby alex who caught 3 passes for 63 yards and WR Ronan Orford who caught 4 passes for 54 yards and 1 touchdown.

St. Ignatius’ QB Charlie Katz threw for 123 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Henri Vatinel picked up 95 rushing yards and WR David Woodruff had 97 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

With the loss, St. Ignatius falls to 1-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Sacred Heart Cathedral travels to Mountain View, CA to face off against the Saint Francis Lancers on Friday September 29 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

St. Ignatius will challenge the Valley Christian Warriors at home on Saturday September 30 at 1:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
