Cathedral Catholic crushes Westview 48-6

QB Kai Brown picked up 80 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help Cathedral Catholic to a 48-6 win over Westview on Friday night at Cathedral Catholic High School.

The Dons also recieved helpful efforts from RB Shawn Poma who rushed 12 times for 129 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Josh Lewis who rushed 3 times for 71 yards and 1 touchdown.

Westview’s QB Beau Nelson threw for 148 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Marcellus Kamins picked up 20 rushing yards and WR Connor Simpson had 50 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Cathedral Catholic improve to 1-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Cathedral Catholic travels to La Mesa, CA to challenge the Helix Highlanders on Friday September 15 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
