St. Augustine crushes Canyon Springs 51-12

RB DeAndre Daniels had 126 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to help St. Augustine to a 51-12 win over Canyon Springs on Friday night at St. Augustine High School.

The Saints also recieved key efforts from QB Ryan Thomas who completed 12 passes for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns and QB JR Justice who caught 7 passes for 73 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Canyon Springs’ QB Kayjon Edwards threw for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns and RB Diamante Burton picked up 23 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.

The win helps St. Augustine improve to 1-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

St. Augustine will face off against the Carlsbad Lancers at home on Friday September 1 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Canyon Springs will take on the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles at home on Friday September 8 at 8:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
