St. Augustine beats Mira Mesa 42-26

St. Augustine High School -

RB DeAndre Daniels had 233 rushing yards and scored 4 touchdowns to lead St. Augustine to a 42-26 win over Mira Mesa on Friday night at St. Augustine High School.

The Saints also recieved helpful efforts from QB Angelo Peraza who completed 8 passes for 84 yards and RB Kaori Mcgowan who rushed 3 times for 32 yards.

Mira Mesa’s QB Noah Tumblin threw for 216 yards, RB Jalen Taite picked up 51 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and WR Marcus Dean had 71 receiving yards.

The win helps St. Augustine improve to 6-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

St. Augustine travels to San Diego, CA to take on the Cathedral Catholic Dons on Friday November 3 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Mira Mesa will challenge the Madison Warhawks at home on Friday November 3 at 6:30pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
