WR Marcus Dean had 97 receiving yards to lead Mira Mesa to a 28-20 win over Escondido on Friday night at Mira Mesa High School.

The Marauders also recieved vital efforts from A Harr who caught 3 passes for 55 yards and QB Noah Tumblin who rushed 3 times for 45 yards and 1 touchdown.

Escondido’s threw for 123 yards.

The win helps Mira Mesa improve to 2-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Mira Mesa travels to San Diego, CA to face off against the Mt. Carmel Sundevils on Friday September 8 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Escondido travels to San Diego, CA to challenge the Serra Conquistadors on Friday September 15 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
