Mira Mesa edges Mt. Carmel 29-27

QB Noah Tumblin had 162 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to lead Mira Mesa to a 29-27 win over Mt. Carmel on Friday night at Mt. Carmel High School.

The Marauders also recieved key efforts from WR Aryom Harr who caught 3 passes for 85 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Albert Lemon who caught 4 passes for 37 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Mt. Carmel’s QB Sean Casey threw for 91 yards and 1 touchdown and S Grant Walby had 35 receiving yards.

The win helps Mira Mesa improve to 3-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Mira Mesa will take on the Scripps Ranch Falcons at home on Friday September 15 at 6:30pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Mt. Carmel will face off against the Vista Panthers at home on Friday September 15 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
