Mira Mesa defeats Morse 28-20

QB Noah Tumblin racked up 163 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to help Mira Mesa to a 28-20 win over Morse on Friday night at University City High School.

The Marauders also recieved major efforts from TE Javelle Brown who caught 1 pass for 65 yards and WR Artyom Harr who caught 8 passes for 54 yards and 1 touchdown.

Morse’s ANTHONY GONZALES threw for 135 yards and 2 touchdowns, MARTELL IRBY picked up 57 rushing yards and TIM PATRICK had 79 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

The win helps Mira Mesa improve to 5-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Mira Mesa travels to San Diego, CA to face off against the Point Loma Pointers on Friday October 13 at 6:30pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Morse travels to El Cajon, CA to take on the Christian Patriots on Friday October 13 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
