Mission Hills beats La Costa Canyon 24-13

QB Jack Tuttle accumulated 174 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead Mission Hills to a 24-13 win over La Costa Canyon on Friday night at La Costa Canyon High School.

The Grizzlies also recieved major efforts from WR Chris Olave who caught 8 passes for 82 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Samuel Dixon who rushed 9 times for 59 yards.

La Costa Canyon’s QB Jake Neufeld threw for 166 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Zachary Monahan had 74 receiving yards.

With the loss, La Costa Canyon falls to 6-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Mission Hills will challenge the El Camino Wildcats at home on Friday October 20 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
