Bellarmine College Prep edges Clovis North 16-13

RB Noah Laine picked up 104 rushing yards to lead Bellarmine College Prep to a 16-13 win over Clovis North on Friday night at San Jose City College (San Jose, CA).

The Bells also received vital efforts from RB Austin Ajiake who rushed 20 times for 91 yards and 1 touchdown and FB Brandon Bumanlag who rushed 2 times for 49 yards.

Clovis North’s QB DJ Frampton threw for 90 yards, RB Jackson Schultz picked up 41 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Kurt Kobzeff had 37 receiving yards.

The win helps Bellarmine College Prep improve to 2-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Bellarmine College Prep will face off against the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups at home on Friday September 8 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
