Gonzaga Prep defeats Bellarmine College Prep 38-19

QB Connor Halonen had 120 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to guide Gonzaga Prep to a 38-19 win over Bellarmine College Prep on Friday night at Bellarmine College Prep.

The Bullpups also recieved helpful efforts from RB Eric Floyd who caught 1 pass for 81 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Kasey Anthony who rushed 21 times for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Bellarmine College Prep’s QB Nick Teresi threw for 18 yards, RB Tyson Garcia picked up 109 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and WR Andrew Tijani had 12 receiving yards.

The win helps Gonzaga Prep improve to 1-1 on the season while Bellarmine College Prep falls to 2-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Gonzaga Prep will challenge the Lewis & Clark Tigers at home on Friday September 15 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
