Cathedral Catholic defeats Mira Mesa 26-16

RB Ryan Kilpatrick had 122 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to help Cathedral Catholic to a 26-16 win over Mira Mesa on Friday night at Madison High School.

The Dons also recieved key efforts from WR Zion Sorani who caught 2 passes for 51 yards and 1 touchdown and QB Thomas Kane-Berman who completed 3 passes for 57 yards and 1 touchdown.

Mira Mesa’s QB Noah Tumblin threw for 197 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Artyom Harr had 96 receiving yards.

With the loss, Mira Mesa falls to 5-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
