Valley Christian cruises by St. Ignatius 34-10

QB Juan Turner picked up 167 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to guide Valley Christian to a 34-10 win over St. Ignatius on Saturday night at St. Ignatius College Prep.
The Warriors also recieved major efforts from CB Charlie Bostic who rushed 11 times for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns and CB Alton Julian who caught 2 passes for 126 yards and 2 touchdowns.
St. Ignatius’ QB Charlie Katz threw for 178 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Henri Vatinel picked up 23 rushing yards and WR David Woodruff had 57 receiving yards.
With the loss, St. Ignatius falls to 1-4 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Valley Christian will challenge the Sacred Heart Cathedral Fightin’ Irish at home on Friday October 6 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
