Steele Canyon beats Mira Mesa 36-22

QB Thomas Fishburne picked up 201 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to lead Steele Canyon to a 36-22 win over Mira Mesa on Friday night at Steele Canyon High School.

The Cougars also recieved vital efforts from QB Hayden Roach who rushed 16 times for 96 yards and CB Perry Steele who caught 4 passes for 80 yards and 1 touchdown.

Mira Mesa’s QB Noah Tumblin threw for 90 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Artyom Harr had 81 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

With the loss, Mira Mesa falls to 5-6 on the season. Tonight’s game was the second matchup between the two teams. In the previous game Friday September 29, Steele Canyon came out in front, 36-22.
