San Marcos crushes St. Augustine 41-20

QB Miles Hastings racked up 309 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to guide San Marcos to a 41-20 win over St. Augustine on Friday night at San Marcos High School.

The Knights also recieved key efforts from RB Josh Bornes who rushed 11 times for 149 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Gavin Cherveny who caught 6 passes for 81 yards.

St. Augustine’s QB Angelo Peraza threw for 324 yards and 1 touchdown, TE Malcolm Williams picked up 56 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and WR Patrick Bazzi had 102 receiving yards.

The win helps San Marcos improve to 9-2 on the season while St. Augustine falls to 7-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
