Fairfax edges Birmingham 40-35

QB Scott Harris racked up 155 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to guide Fairfax to a 40-35 win over Birmingham on Friday night at Fairfax High School.

The Lions also recieved key efforts from WR Keivon Johnwell who rushed 11 times for 83 yards and WR Andrew Cox who caught 5 passes for 66 yards and 1 touchdown.

Birmingham’s QB Jason Artiga threw for 83 yards, RB Shane Bennett picked up 129 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Marcos Moran had 44 receiving yards.

The win helps Fairfax improve to 9-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
