Carlsbad beats Cathedral Catholic 38-28

RB Noah Vella had 94 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to lead Carlsbad to a 38-28 win over Cathedral Catholic on Friday night at Cathedral Catholic High School.

The Lancers also recieved vital efforts from RB Ryan Menker who rushed 1 time for 83 yards and WR Jacob Turner who completed 1 pass for 52 yards.

Cathedral Catholic’s QB Thomas Kane-Berman threw for 28 yards, RB Zavien Watson picked up 232 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns and WR Zion Sorani had 21 receiving yards.

With the loss, Cathedral Catholic falls to 5-7 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
