Mission Viejo defeats Orange Lutheran 48-35

Akili Arnold had 325 rushing yards and scored 5 touchdowns to guide Mission Viejo to a 48-35 win over Orange Lutheran on Friday night.

The Diablos also recieved impressive efforts from QB Joey Yellen who completed 8 passes for 154 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Elijah Collier who caught 2 passes for 73 yards and 1 touchdown.

Orange Lutheran’s QB Ryan Hilinski threw for 307 yards and 2 touchdowns, S Reginald Strong Jr. picked up 98 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and S Logan Loya had 127 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

With the loss, Orange Lutheran falls to 6-6 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
