Newport Christian School Seahawks edges Samueli Academy Firewolves 47-44 in California high school basketball game

Newport Christian School Guard Abbi Bowman led the way with 15 points as the Seahawks beat Samueli Academy Firewolves 47-44 in a game at Liberty Christian.

Bowman’s points came on 6 field goals and 3 of 6 free throws during the game.

A B added 14. Samueli Academy fell to 0-1 overall while Newport Christian School improved their record to 1-0.

Samueli Academy’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Tuesday Nov. 19 at 6:00pm versus Los Amigos. Newport Christian School will host Apple Valley on Tuesday Nov. 19 at 5:00pm.
