Newport Christian School Seahawks cruises by Brethren Christian Warriors 55-13 in California high school basketball game

Newport Christian School Guard Lani Bowman led all scorers with 22 points as the Seahawks beat Brethren Christian Warriors 55-13 in a game at Newport Christian.

Bowman’s points came on 9 field goals and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Lisa Lu added 2. Brethren Christian fell to 0-1 overall while Newport Christian School improved their record to 3-2.

Brethren Christian’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Jan. 16 at 5:30pm versus Eastside Christian Schools. Newport Christian School will travel to on Friday Nov. 22 at 5:00pm to play United Christian Academy .
