Newport Christian School Guard Lani Bowman led all scorers with 17 points as the Seahawks beat Pacifica Christian (Orange County) Tritons 46-42 in a game at Pacifica Christian.

Bowman’s points came on 5 field goals, 2 three pointers and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

X Mackay added 16. Pacifica Christian (Orange County) fell to 0-1 overall while Newport Christian School improved their record to 5-3.
