Newport Christian School Guard Ashlyn Thompson led all scorers with 24 points as the Seahawks beat Apple Valley Sun Devils 39-34 in a game at Newport Christian.

Thompson’s points came on 10 field goals and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Apple Valley’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Nov. 21 at 4:30pm versus Palmdale. Newport Christian School will travel to Liberty Christian on Tuesday Nov. 19 at 7:30pm to play Magnolia.
