Poway beats La Costa Canyon 58-51

Poway’s Val Tulafono led all scorers with 17 points as the Titans beat La Costa Canyon 58-51 in a game at Maverick Round-Up.”

Tulafono’s points came on 6 field goals and 5 of 9 free throws during the game.

La Costa Canyon was led by Colleen Haggerty’s 15 points and Kaylee Berry added 11. La Costa Canyon fell to 2-1 overall while Poway improved their record to 0-0.

La Costa Canyon’s next game is scheduled to be played at Tip-Off Classic on Wednesday Dec. 6 at 7:00pm versus Ramona.
