La Costa Canyon defeats Mira Costa 61-54

La Costa Canyon’s Colleen Haggerty led all scorers with 15 points as the Mavericks beat Mira Costa 61-54 in a game at Del Norte High School.”
Haggerty’s points came on 3 field goals, 2 three pointers and 3 of 4 free throws during the game.
Mira Costa was led by kelli toyooka ‘s 12 points and haley herdman added 11. Mira Costa fell to 0-0 overall while La Costa Canyon improved their record to 9-3.
La Costa Canyon will travel to El Capitan High School on Thursday Dec. 28 at 3:30pm to play Douglas.
