Newport Christian School Guard Ashlyn Thompson led all scorers with 17 points as the Seahawks beat San Gabriel Academy Eagles 55-41 in a game at Liberty Christian .

Thompson’s points came on 8 field goals and 1 of 1 free throws during the game.

San Gabriel Academy’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Sunday Dec. 29 at 11:00am versus Loma Linda Academy. Newport Christian School will host South Hills on Monday Dec. 16 at 6:00pm.
