Vaughn White Tigers edges Avalon Lancers 48-43 in California high school basketball game

Vaughn’s Nicole Hererra led all scorers with 15 points as the White Tigers beat Avalon Lancers 48-43 in a game at San Fernando, CA.

Hererra’s points came on 5 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 10 free throws during the game.

Vanessa Rodriguez added 10. Avalon fell to 3-8 overall while Vaughn improved their record to 3-13.

Avalon’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Tuesday Jan. 7 at 6:00pm versus Sage Hill. Vaughn will host Community Charter on Tuesday Jan. 7 at 5:30pm.
