Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders beat Helix Highlanders 57-41 in California high school basketball game

Mater Dei Catholic’s Marissa Sanchez led all scorers with 25 points as the Crusaders beat Helix Highlanders 57-41 in a game at Bonita Vista High School.

Sanchez’s points came on 6 field goals, 4 three pointers and 1 of 1 free throws during the game.

Selena Solomon added 19. Helix fell to 17-8 overall while Mater Dei Catholic improved their record to 18-2.

Helix’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Friday Feb. 14 at 5:30pm versus Mount Miguel. Mater Dei Catholic will host Montgomery on Wednesday Feb. 12 at 6:00pm.
