La Costa Canyon crushes Canyon Crest 58-26

La Costa Canyon’s Lexi Gutierrez led all scorers with 20 points as the Mavericks beat Canyon Crest 58-26 in a game at Canyon Crest High School (San Diego, CA).”

Gutierrez’s points came on 5 field goals, 2 three pointers and 4 of 5 free throws during the game.

Canyon Crest was led by RENZA e’s 12 points and Zoe c added 8. Canyon Crest fell to 0-0 overall while La Costa Canyon improved their record to 14-1.

La Costa Canyon will host Sage Creek on Friday Feb. 2 at 4:00pm.
