Dillard Panthers edges Fort Myers Green Wave 35-30 in Florida high school football game

Dillard High School Zamir Jones had 256 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to help Dillard Panthers to a 35-30 win over Fort Myers Green Wave on Friday night at Dillard High School, Fort Lauderdale in a high school football game.
The Panthers also received crucial efforts from Patrick Bowen who caught 3 passes for 102 yards and 1 touchdown and Raphael Williams who caught 2 passes for 107 yards and 1 touchdown.
Fort Myers’ Quarterback Carter Lane threw for 87 yards, Running back Sias Young picked up 125 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and Wide receiver John Coleus had 84 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps Dillard improve to 1-0 on the season while Fort Myers falls to 9-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
