Fort Myers crushes Estero 56-14

QB Cole Ames accumulated 130 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead Fort Myers to a 56-14 win over Estero on Friday night at Jeff Sommer Memorial Stadium, Estero.

The Green Wave also received impressive efforts from SB Milan Tucker who caught 3 passes for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns and RB Sias Young who rushed 7 times for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Estero’s QB Tanner Elliot threw for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns, RB Mason Crowell picked up 15 rushing yards and RB Derrick Peart had 76 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Fort Myers improve to 8-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Fort Myers will face off against the East Lee County Jaguars at home on Friday October 26 at 4:30pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
