Fort Myers Green Wave beat South Fort Myers Wolfpack 29-14 in Florida high school football game

Fort Myers High School Quarterback Carter Lane picked up 172 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead Fort Myers Green Wave to a 29-14 win over South Fort Myers Wolfpack on Friday night at Edison Stadium, Fort Myers in a high school football game.

The Green Wave also received impressive efforts from Running Back Zemare Harvin who rushed 16 times for 104 yards and 3 touchdowns and Cornerback Damian Pierre who caught 3 passes for 80 yards and 1 touchdown.

South Fort Myers’ Quarterback Raheem Gibson threw for 94 yards, Running Back Nathan Castor picked up 91 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Wide Receiver Laern Bonelli had 77 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Fort Myers improve to 1-0 on the season while South Fort Myers falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Fort Myers will take on the Charlotte Fightin’ Tarpons at home on Friday October 2. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
