Naples Golden Eagles beat Fort Myers Green Wave 24-9 in Florida high school football game

Naples High School Running back Cesare Mellusi had 193 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead Naples Golden Eagles to a 24-9 win over Fort Myers Green Wave on Friday night at Staver Field, Naples, Fla. in a high school football game.

The Golden Eagles also received crucial efforts from Running back Elan Sommala who rushed 23 times for 119 yards and Running back Chase Bertucci who rushed 3 times for 17 yards.

Fort Myers’ Quarterback Willie Neal threw for 103 yards and Wide receiver John Coleus had 59 receiving yards.

With the loss, Fort Myers falls to 10-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
