Simeon’s Talen Horton Tucker led all scorers with 17 points as the Wolverines beat Whitney Young 59-52 in a game at UIC Pavilion.”

Horton Tucker’s points came on 6 field goals and 5 of 7 free throws during the game.

Whitney Young was led by Xavier Castaneda’s 16 points and Javon Freeman added 12. Whitney Young fell to 3-2 overall while Simeon improved their record to 1-0.

Whitney Young’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Dec. 28 at 7:00pm versus New Trier. Simeon will travel to Chicago State University on Friday Feb. 17 at 5:00pm to play Whitney Young.
