South Bend St. Joseph’s Brady Powers led all scorers with 23 points as the Indians beat South Bend Washington 73-71 in a game at South Bend Washington High School.”

Powers’ points came on 3 field goals, 5 three pointers and 2 of 4 free throws during the game.

South Bend Washington was led by Demarcus Vaughn’s 17 points and Cory McKinney added 17. South Bend Washington fell to 0-0 overall while South Bend St. Joseph improved their record to 8-6.
