Mt. Vernon crushes Covenant Christian 78-47

Mt. Vernon’s Damari Gatewood led all scorers with 19 points as the Marauders beat Covenant Christian 78-47 in a game at Covenant Christian High School.”

Gatewood’s points came on 2 field goals and 5 three pointers during the game.

Covenant Christian was led by Jordan Webb’s 20 points and Brennan Moran added 9. Covenant Christian fell to 1-2 overall while Mt. Vernon improved their record to 0-0.

Covenant Christian’s next game is scheduled to be played at Roncalli High School on Saturday Dec. 2 at 4:30pm versus Roncalli.
