Westfield’s Zach Banks led the way with 15 points as the Shamrocks beat Lafayette Jefferson 42-40 in a game at Lafayette Jeff High School.”

Banks’ points came on 3 field goals, 2 three pointers and 3 of 5 free throws during the game.

Lafayette Jefferson was led by Avery Beaver’s 17 points and Marell Jordan added 13. Lafayette Jefferson fell to 0-0 overall while Westfield improved their record to 5-5.

Lafayette Jefferson’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Saturday Jan. 20 at 4:30pm versus Lafayette Central Catholic. Westfield will host Plainfield on Tuesday Jan. 16 at 7:30pm.
