Columbus East cruises by Jennings County 56-0

RB Lance Griewe had 113 rushing yards and scored 4 touchdowns to guide Columbus East to a 56-0 win over Jennings County on Friday night at Columbus East H.S..

The Olympians also received major efforts from QB Cole Gilley who completed 4 passes for 111 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Cody Horner who caught 2 passes for 81 yards and 1 touchdown.

Jennings County’s Lance Bailey threw for 28 yards, Branden Harris picked up 27 rushing yards and WR Jared Corya had 19 receiving yards.

The win helps Columbus East improve to 2-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Columbus East travels to New Albany, IN to face off against the New Albany Bulldogs on Friday September 14 at 4:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
