Decatur Central Hawks edges Columbus East Olympians 27-24 in Indiana high school football game

Decatur Central High School Parker Harrington accumulated 196 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to help Decatur Central Hawks to a 27-24 win over Columbus East Olympians on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Hawks also received major efforts from Kenneth Tracy who rushed 21 times for 99 yards and 1 touchdown and Nick Pickett who caught 1 pass for 37 yards.

Columbus East’s Quarterback Cole Gilley threw for 284 yards and 2 touchdowns, Running back Lance Griewe picked up 3 rushing yards and Wide receiver Cody Horner had 144 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

With the loss, Columbus East falls to 11-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
