New Castle Trojans defeat Shelbyville Golden Bears 59-44 in Indiana high school basketball game

New Castle’s Cameron Tabor led all scorers with 22 points as the Trojans beat Shelbyville Golden Bears 59-44 in a game at New Castle High School.

Tabor’s points came on 6 field goals, 1 three pointer and 7 of 7 free throws during the game.

Jaidyn Tackett added 9. Shelbyville fell to 2-6 overall while New Castle improved their record to 1-0.

Shelbyville’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Dec. 11 at 4:30pm versus Greenfield Central. New Castle will travel to Hamilton Southeastern High School on Tuesday Dec. 11 at 4:30pm to play Hamilton Southeastern.
