Batesville’s Ellie Waechter led all scorers with 24 points as the Bulldogs beat Shelbyville Golden Bears 44-32 in a game at Shelbyville High School.

Waechter’s points came on 6 field goals, 1 three pointer and 9 of 12 free throws during the game.

Olivia Byrd added 8. Shelbyville fell to 2-4 overall.

Shelbyville’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Dec. 4 at 4:30pm versus New Palestine. Batesville will host East Central on Saturday Dec. 15 at 3:00pm.
