Winfield Mt. Union’s Christian Gerot led all scorers with 27 points as the Wolves beat Mediapolis Bulldogs 58-45 in a game at Winfield NtUnion.

Gerot’s points came on 2 field goals, 7 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Dawson Wirt added 16. Mediapolis fell to 3-7 overall while Winfield Mt. Union improved their record to 1-0.

Mediapolis’ next game is scheduled to be played at Columbus junction on Tuesday Jan. 14 at 4:15pm versus Columbus. Winfield Mt. Union will travel to mediapolis on Tuesday Feb. 11 at 5:10pm to play Mediapolis.
