Poteet defeats Lovejoy 60-46

Poteet’s DJ Basey led all scorers with 21 points as the Pirates beat Lovejoy 60-46 in a game at Lovejoy High School.”

Basey’s points came on 8 field goals and 5 of 6 free throws during the game.

Lovejoy was led by l l’s 17 points and g g added 8. Lovejoy fell to 0-0 overall while Poteet improved their record to 6-7.

Poteet will host West Mesquite on Friday Jan. 12 at 7:00pm.
