Poteet Pirates edges Garland Owls 34-31 in Texas high school basketball game

Poteet’s Dj Basey led all scorers with 13 points as the Pirates beat Garland Owls 34-31 in a game at Garland.

Basey’s points came on 5 field goals and 3 of 3 free throws during the game.

Adam Sounahoro added 9. while Poteet improved their record to 2-0.

Poteet will travel to Berkner on Tuesday Dec. 4 at 5:00pm to play Berkner.
