Poteet’s Devon Martin led all scorers with 23 points as the Pirates beat Forney Jackrabbits 57-44 in a game at Forney.

Martin’s points came on 9 field goals and 5 of 9 free throws during the game.

Corby Filice added 7. while Poteet improved their record to 5-3.

Poteet will host West Mesquite on Friday Jan. 4 at 5:00pm.
