Uintah High School defeats Fruita Monument 67-49

Uintah High School’s Korbin Gardner led all scorers with 22 points as the Ute beat Fruita Monument 67-49 in a game at Vernal, Utah.”

Gardner’s points came on 5 field goals, 3 three pointers and 3 of 5 free throws during the game.

Fruita Monument was led by Gunner Rigsby’s 15 points and Jake Brizzolara added 9. Fruita Monument fell to 0-0 overall while Uintah High School improved their record to 2-0.

Uintah High School will host Payson on Tuesday Jan. 17 at 7:00pm.
